چکیده
An investigation was carried out with 48 genotypes of pea obtained through line x tester mating and were tested using a randomized block experimental design three replications. The result showed highly significant difference for all the 14 characters under study. variability, heritability genetic advance as percent mean studied characters. A high genotypic coefficient variation observed traits number secondary branches, plant height, pods per plant, harvest index, nodules fresh weight dry weight. High coupled estimates recorded pod length, seeds pod, 100 seed weight, grain yield indicating role additive gene action selection these could be reliable.

Article info: Received: 30 April 2014 Accepted: 29 January 2015 ABSTRACT The trial was carried during 2011-2013 on the second experimental field of the Institute of Forage Crops – Pleven, Bulgaria. Eight generations (P1, P2, F1, F2, RC1 and each reciprocal generation) from a cross between the Shtambovii and Pleven 10 varieties were sown in this study. Five traits were evaluated: number of pods ...
متن کاملGenetic control of floral zygomorphy in pea (Pisum sativum L.).
Floral zygomorphy (flowers with bilateral symmetry) has multiple origins and typically manifests two kinds of asymmetries, dorsoventral (DV) and organ internal (IN) asymmetries in floral and organ planes, respectively, revealing the underlying key regulators in plant genomes that generate and superimpose various mechanisms to build up complexity and different floral forms during plant developme...

The present study was carried out to estimate genetic variability parameters for some traits such as pods per plant, cell membrane stability, one thousand kernel weight, flowering period, grain filling period, chlorophyll content, relative water content, leaf excised water content, seed per pod and pod length, in 16 winter rapeseed genotypes. Statistical analysis showed significant differences ...

A study was carried out in mungbean Vigna radiata (L.) Wilczek) with eight ‘lines’ and four ‘testers’ crossed in a Line x Tester Genetic variability, heritability and genetic advance were estimated for marketable and its component yield traits in 48 lines of carrot (Daucus carota var. sativa L.). The study showed high ranges for total yield (3.15 -7.56 kg/plot), marketable yield (2.60 – 6.85 kg...
